Sam Howden, MSW, BSW (they/them) is an Indigenous social worker, educator, and therapeutic practitioner and the founder of Thunderwalk Therapy. Their work is grounded in their roles as Skaabe and Oshkaabewis in training through Memengwaa Lodge, where teachings of humility, service, and relational accountability guide them.
Sam blends Indigenous pedagogies, land-based healing, and ceremony with contemporary clinical approaches, including Land-based Psychotherapy, somatic modalities, and narrative therapy.
